Young’s family has faced countless difficulties. His mother has a mental illness and his father has an intellectual disability, precluding them to care for themselves. When Young was a baby, his paternal grandparents attempted to sell him. His maternal grandpa rushed to rescue him and bring him home. The family lives in impoverishment and is ridiculed by the community. Subsequently, Young is introverted and timid, and his academic performance suffers.
