Nixon lives with his parents and siblings in one of the poorest neighborhoods in the city. Their home, made of dirt and wooden poles, sits near a hillside. He is the brother of Kimberly, who has been at Living Hope Children's Center since it first opened. Nixon's mother has been seriously ill, yet she is often the one providing food for the family, as his father struggles to find consistent work.
