Right after the invasion of Ukraine in 2022, Daria's father bravely joined the military to defend their homeland. He always looked for an opportunity to call his family while serving on active duty. Unfortunately, in May 2022, just two months after enlisting, he heroically sacrificed his life and could no longer make the calls his family so anxiously awaited. Daria now lives with her mother and attends elementary school. She is an outgoing and kind-hearted girl who loves making friends.
