Olena is a creative girl who loves to draw, dance, and recite poems. Her father served as a gunner in the Marines unit. While on the battlefield, he sustained non-life-threatening injuries but tragically succumbed to artillery fire. He left behind a wife and two children, Olena and her older brother Makysm. Both children are now in our sponsorship program.
