Matvii’s father was a fallen hero of the Ukraine Armed Forces. He devoted a significant part of his life to serving in the military cause. Later, he was diagnosed with cancer and released from the military to undergo difficult treatments. When Russia launched an attack on Ukraine in 2022, even though he had no obligation to return to the military, he voluntarily put on the uniform again. Sadly the cancer returned, and he passed away in January 2024. Matvii just entered elementary school. He is very calm, shy, kind, honest and smart.
