Elijah’s father passed away in an alcoholrelated accident when he was 7 years old. Since then, his mother has been raising Elijah and his three siblings alone. Despite having just given birth to Elijah’s youngest sister two months ago, Elijah’s mother returned to work immediately to provide for the family.
