Diego is a bright and energetic young boy who has just started elementary school. He currently lives with his mother and stepfather, staying with relatives in a crowded home where seven people share one house. His family is in the process of building their own home. They make a living through farming. At present, their most urgent needs are food, economical support and a safe place to live. Diego is full of energy and especially loves playing soccer. He regularly attends church gatherings and worship services and has a strong desire to grow in his knowledge of God. The family’s prayer is that they will be able to complete their own home soon and have a safe place to call their own.
