My Story

On the second day of the full-scale invasion in 2022, Khrystyna's father voluntarily went to the front line and served as an assault rifleman. At that time, Khrystyna's mother was pregnant and gave birth to their first daughter one month later. In 2024, their second daughter, Khrystyna, was born. In 2025, the family received the devastating news that Khrystyna's father had been seriously injured. Sadly, his condition worsened. Khrystyna's father was scheduled for a surgical consultation on June 23, 2025, but it never took place because his heart stopped. Khrystyna's mother wrote, "I didn't know how to live on alone with two small children, but I understood that I was the only one left with them and I had to hold on."  Khrystyna is a calm little girl who enjoys dancing and playing with dolls.
