My Story

Jonathan's family lives in a remote mountain area. He is lively and healthy and is the sixth of seven children in his family. Life is very difficult for this large family, and their home is dark, worn, and nearly bare. Jonathan's father is a believer. He suffers from rheumatism and supports the family by doing transport work. Jonathan's mother has heart problems. Jonathan and his five older sisters are all in school, while the youngest sister still needs care and feeding. Daily living expenses and the children's education costs place a heavy strain on Jonathan's parents, who are already struggling with illness, leaving them often exhausted and overwhelmed.
