My Story

Heather lives with her family in a remote and impoverished mountain area. She is a cheerful girl and the second of four children in the family. She loves dancing, is in good health, and does well in school overall. Although she struggles academically, she continues to work hard and grow. In February 2026, Heather's family suffered a devastating loss when her father passed away after an illness. Even in these difficult circumstances, Heather's mother has chosen not to give up. When ministry workers came to visit the family, Heather's mother, feeling as though their care was a lifeline in such a desperate time, thanked them again and again for coming. Today, Heather's family faces urgent needs in both daily life and education.
