Hugo lives with his family in a remote and impoverished mountain area. He is the youngest of four children and is a cheerful boy who hopes to become a police officer one day. In February 2026, Hugo's family experienced a heartbreaking loss when his father passed away after an illness. In the midst of this hardship, Hugo's mother has not given up. When ministry workers came to visit the family, Hugo's mother, feeling as though their care was a lifeline in such a desperate time, thanked them again and again for coming. Hugo's family is deeply thankful for every kindness, every prayer, and every expression of help.
