My Story

Matvii is an elementary school student. He is friendly, active, and cheerful. After the outbreak of the Russia-Ukraine war in 2022, his father volunteered for military service and was later deployed to the front line as a grenade launcher operator. On December 6th of the same year, he was tragically killed during fighting in the Donetsk region.  His father was diligent and dependable who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and crafting forged metal works, and was a gentle and responsible father. He loved his children deeply. Matvii’s sister was born a few days after their father’s death. The family of three now relies on one another while facing financial pressure. Despite the pain of losing his father, Matvii continues to grow with resilience. Your support will help him focus on his education and continue developing his love for music and sports, giving him hope and opportunity for the future.
