Sofiia is a little girl growing up in a world shaped by both love and loss. She has a loving older brother, Matvii, who cares deeply for her and already tries to protect her in his own small ways. When the Russia-Ukraine war broke out in 2022, her father volunteered for military service and was
later deployed to the front line as a grenade launcher operator. On December 6th of that same year, he was tragically killed during fighting in the Donetsk region. Before his sacrifice, he had already chosen a name for his unborn daughter — Sofiia. The family of three leans on one another as they navigate financial pressure and the lasting grief of losing a husband and father.
