Hank's father passed away in 2021 due to illness. Shortly after, his mother left home and has not been heard from since. Hank and his younger sister Nora have to live with their grandparents. Hank's grandfather suffered from a stroke and his grandmother has high blood pressure. The family is very poor. Hank and his sister have not yet received any orphan assistance. In addition, the family has adopted another orphan before this family trauma.
Hank is currently in elementary school and performs well academically. However, the sudden loss of his parents and the drastic changes in his life have caused him to carry heavy worries at a young age, with a face full of concern and confusion that no child his age should have to bear.
