When Zack was 5 years old, his father passed away from cancer. His mother later remarried, and since then, Zack and his older sister have lived with their grandparents.
His grandfather, devastated by the sudden loss of his son, suffered a heart attack and underwent bypass surgery. Zack’s grandmother previously suffered from a stroke, and on top of that, she was diagnosed with bone cancer in her right leg.
Zack is introverted, and the upheavals in his young life have left him constantly frowning with a worried expression. Despite everything, he does well in school. He dreams of studying hard, becoming a doctor, and treating his grandparents' illnesses so no one in his family has to suffer again.
