Yulian’s father joined the ranks of The Armed Forces of Ukraine in 2022 and served in the Air Force in Odesa. He went to the battle line and has lost contact since August 13, 2024. He ran to pick up a wounded comrade and got shot. He has most likely died now. The Chepara family’s hearts are broken. Yulian lives with his mother who is a teacher and his elder sister, Frantsishka, who is also in our sponsorship program. He is in kindergarten now. He likes Legos, drawing pictures, and playing different games outside. Yulian is healthy, very inquisitive, independent, and creative.
