When Yale was three years old, his father was imprisoned in 2021 and was soon diagnosed with
a brain tumor. Treatment failed and he died in 2022, leaving behind a large amount of debt. Yale’s
mother was sentenced to three years in prison for the same crime in 2022. Yale now lives with
grandparents.
When not farming on the land, his grandpa would go out to find any jobs to earn
money. Even though he is in poor health, he still works very hard.
Yale is lively and cheerful, smart, studious, and performs well.
