Tobin currently lives with his grandparents. His mother abandoned him after his parents divorced, and in 2021 his father died of a heart attack. The two elderly caretakers suffer from chronic diseases, and are also burdened with heavy debt. The traumatic upheavals in Tobin’s life have caused him to have an introverted and reticent character. Tobin is a responsible boy, studies hard, receives good grades, and loves reading and writing.
